I decided to take Highway 168 to Prather because I had not ridden the bike out that way before, and I have done the other side along the Kings River a few times. This turned out to be an excellent choice.
I am not afraid to admit I am a novice on this machine. But I love it so much; more every day. I understand how people become obsessed with these things. I am getting better at finding a line and stringing curves together. This Sunday morning ride is going to be a thing for me this summer. This rules. We leave for Oregon tonight after my so leaves his last grad party. We will stay in Rohnert Park tonight.
Holy small town , Batman! That’s a lot of food.

I think you’ve inspired me to take the bicycle out today

Well, crap. Now the whole grain cheerios I had for breakfast seem even worse than they were. Go ahead and twist the knife by posting a pic of the home-made tortillas they served with it. That’ll make my day.

have to admit, that bit of 168 between the top of the 4 lane and shaver is one of my favorite stretches of road...especially if i can catch it with minimal traffic. something about the flow of the curves...
